Shore Acres

SHORE ACRES

REMODEL
This client had a galley kitchen with no view of the water from the front living area.  We removed a couple of walls and moved the kitchen to the side of the home creating an open concept.  This not only allowed for great conversation from the dining room kitchen and TV room it also allowed more light into the home.
BEFORE
THIS KITCHEN CUT OFF THE LIVING ROOM FROM THE REST OF THE HOUSE.  tHE CLIENT WANTED A VIEW FROM THE FRONT DOOR TO THE WATER AT THE BACK OF THE HOUSE.  tHE KITCHEN WAS A GALLEY KITCHEN WHICH DIDN'T FUNCTION WELL FOR THE FAMILY AND THE DINING ROOM WAS VERY SMALL AND ISOLATED FROM THE REST OF THE HOUSE.
after
we flipped the dining room and the kitchen to open up the space between the front door and living room.  this allowed a nice flow of space and created more light in the house.
